My name is Kaelyn and I’m a 20-year-old born and raised Mainer. I’ve always had a love for art, especially crafting with clothing. Over the past few years, I’ve grown more interested in sewing. What started off as sewing projects done for me or to gift to others has turned into a passion I want to share with my community!

After being convinced to start a business by my friends and family, I decided to start an Instagram page in August of 2024! After making custom orders and posting items for bid I was able to make a few investments to better my business. I was able to leave my part-time job and begin to give all my focus to 207threads, and now here we are!

My goal is to be able to create unique pieces that people genuinely love while showing some love to the planet. I want to show people that there are so many ways to extend the life of clothes and how to prevent pieces from ending up in landfills. Fast fashion production has skyrocketed in the past few years and I strive to be a part of the community that helps slow that down.
